Show some love to our Young Mothers lead better lives

It is important to recognize that women’s needs are diverse. Too often, women are treated as a monolithic group, but this overlooks important differences. The challenges faced by a woman refugee or someone in a humanitarian crisis differ significantly from those encountered by a woman in a well-established community.

Amplifying Diverse Voices: Meeting the unique needs of women and families

They have unique asks for themselves and their families, as captured in the What Women Want Campaign. They want good hygienic conditions for themselves and their children, food to feed themselves and their families, adequate supply of reproductive, maternal, and newborn healthcare, and better living conditions. Effective support and policies must account for these varied circumstances and individual needs, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. We are keen on ensuring that every woman’s voice, in their diversity, is heard and their needs are met based on their self-articulated needs.

Why a one size-fits-all approach falls short

Diverse Needs: Women's needs vary greatly depending on their circumstances, such as being a refugee or living in a stable community, and should be recognized and addressed individually.

Unique Challenges: Women face different challenges based on their specific contexts, making it essential to tailor support and policies to their unique situations.
