Impact by Reach
We have reached over 3.5 million women, girls, and communities
Through our work at White Ribbon Alliance Kenya, we have directly and indirectly reached over 3.5 million women, girls, and communities; empowering them with knowledge, resources, and stronger health systems. Below are some of the key statistics that showcase our collective impact.

In geography
We work with women, girls, and newborns in all their diversities across every county in Kenya (47 Counties). While our efforts span the entire country, our focus is particularly emphasized on the most marginalized and vulnerable communities. These areas are identified based on key priority demands, ensuring that our interventions are tailored to the unique needs of these populations. By working closely with communities in both urban and rural settings, including remote regions, we aim to amplify the voices of those who are often overlooked, ensuring that no community is left behind in the pursuit of better health and well-being
Women and girls’ action networks for change (WAGAN)

At the core of WRA Kenya’s mission are the Women and Girls’ Action Networks for Change (WAGAN). The success and sustainability of WRA Kenya’s work are deeply rooted in local ownership, which is facilitated through Community Action Networks (CANs) and Village Action Networks (VANs). These networks consist of individuals, community-based organizations (CBOs), women’s groups, and youth groups, all dedicated to advancing reproductive, maternal, newborn, and adolescent health and rights. y empowering local voices, these networks enable communities to lead change from the ground up, ensuring that the needs and demands of every woman and girl are both heard and addressed. Through strong community connections, WRA Kenya has amplified its advocacy efforts, utilizing self-advocacy and self-organizing tools to drive meaningful and lasting improvements in the health and well-being of women and girls. This approach not only fosters a sense of ownership but also creates sustainable change that is rooted in the very communities it aims to support.
