Self-Care, Respectful Care, and Holistic Wellbeing

Health is not just the absence of disease

Women have told us it is about dignity, knowledge, choice, and respect. That’s why we advance programs that put power back in women’s hands and promote care that treats them as human beings first.

  • Self-Care:Women want practical tools to manage their health. We provide information and community support for menstrual hygiene, family planning, mental health, and chronic illness management. This builds autonomy and confidence, especially for those in remote or underserved areas.
  • Respectful Maternity Care (RMC):Through surveys and listening sessions, thousands of women told us that respect, kindness, and safety are what they value most in childbirth. We work with midwives, health workers, and policymakers to make respectful care the standard across all facilities.
