What Women Want for Quality Reproductive, Maternal, and Newborn Health
This was the very first campaign, and from it, other campaigns have been informed.
Launched on April 11, 2018 during the International Day of Maternal Health Rights, this campaign was driven by findings from the Confidential Enquiry into Maternal Deaths report, which revealed that the biggest killer of mothers is poor quality of care, accounting for 9 out of 10 maternal deaths.

WWW began with a simple idea: ask those who most use reproductive and maternal health services to tell us what they most need. Ask the end user.
In addition to pushing for better health policies, programs, and services, What Women Want was also meant to inspire women and girls to come together and assert their individual needs and wishes.
This campaign challenged advocates, donors, journalists, policymakers, and providers to put aside their assumptions, expertise, and interests, and to really listen and act on What Women Want.
